'Front #2

I don't have the energy to rewrite my entire post. Quick updates...

Homefront
Looked at 50+ homes, put in an offer on 3 and were beat out by $100,000 on 2 of them. Still homeless and looking. Nothing like quality weekend time with a realtor.

Jobfront
Two interviews, two second interviews Monday and Tuesday. One is Fulltime and one is part-time. I'd like the part-time at the Hillwood Museum and Gardens but fulltime pays better.

Daytime TV-front
Still no Soaps and less home improvement shows. Watched a Quantum Leap marathon and some B-Ball. Also joined Blockbuster online and watched Garden State this week. The Grudge and Anchorman await. Also watched some back-episodes of 24 and West Wing.

Rangerfront
He is happy and fatter. He tried to eat a beagle the other day and has eaten the corners of many moving boxes.

Blogfront
Where are my tools and html views. I think I have an old version of Safari or something. Macs and Blogger do not get along very well. Any suggestions?

I give up!

For the second time I have written a huge post and it is not there. Blogspot sucks. Not very Mac compatible.

Daytime TV

I am so proud of myself for not getting back into soap opera watching but have found my new vice, home design television. Do you know how many of these shows are on daily? Off the top of my head...

Surprise by Design
Designer Guys
Trading Spaces
Mission Organization
Clean Sweep
Party Planner with David Tuterra
While You Were Out
Design on a Dime
Designer Challenge
Designer Finals
Designing for the Sexes
Decorating Cents
Sensible Chic
Divine Design
Clean House
Find and Design
How Clean is Your House
and, of course, Martha Stewart Living

I'm not saying I watch all of them everyday, yeah right.

Yesterday I moved upstairs, where there is no cable, to start unpacking clothes. I decided that perpetual laundry. because I only have 5 pr underwear, 4 pr pants, and 8 shirts, was getting old. It also doesn't look like I'll be moving into a new place for at least 30 days, so finding my sh*t seemed like a good idea. Anyway, although there is no cable, there is a TV with a built-in VCR. Yesterday's non-designer watching consisted of the last 4 episodes of Sex in the City, Season 4; Better Off Dead; Sixteen Candles; and part of Dr. Strangelove. I did look through some old Home & Garden magazines though. Hey, If I can't live in aestheically pleasing surroundings, I have to at least look at some.

Today there is a Project Runway marathon. Yay to bitchy, catty designers! When I first heard about this show I thought it would be crap but Kate turned me on to this one and I must give her HUGE kudos. Fabulous. Since I saw the last few episodes I'll be able to head up to the cable-less upstairs and finish my unpacking to the rest of Dr. Strangelove and perhaps a little Meet John Doe, Notorious, or Vanilla Sky. These are all I have on VHS, or all I have that is not in storage on VHS. I'll need to join a video store or move the DVD and join Netflicks.

Auf Wiedersehen.
